Ann Bennett (Resource)– Ms. Bennett enjoys teaching at Meadow Glen Middle School. She has a Master’s Degree in Education from Columbia College and a Bachelor of Science in Learning Disabilities from Winthrop College. She has a daughter who is a freshman at Newberry College in the Teaching Fellows program. Ms. Bennett enjoys watching many sports, especially the Atlanta Braves, Carolina Panthers, USC Gamecocks, and River Bluff Gators. BioSusan Myrick – Mrs. Myrick is excited to begin her 4th year at Meadow Glen.  She is a graduate of College of Charleston with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and teaching children with Learning Disabilities. Mrs. Myrick is married with 3 children (Parker-16, Sanders-14, and Thomas-10).  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, exercising, and watching her children in their various sporting activities. smyrick@lexington1.net



Jennifer Williams – Mrs. Williams is excited to be joining the MGM faculty this year as a Special Services teacher.  She is a graduate of Indiana University with a bachelor’s degree in Special Education.  She is certified in Special Education/Learning Disabilities and Elementary Education.  Mrs. Williams is married and has three children, the oldest beginning his freshman year at Virginia Tech and the youngest entering kindergarten.  She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and being crafty.  jbwilliams@lexington1.net



Jennifer GrantMrs. Grant is a Special Services teacher at MGM. She received both her B.S.Ed. and M.B.A. from Northern Illinois University. This is her 11th year in the classroom and she cannot think of a career she would love more. Mrs. Grant is married with 3 children, who all attend Lexington One schools. In her spare time, Mrs. Grant enjoys exercise, reading, traveling and shopping at farmer’s markets.JGrant@Lexington1.net, 821-0622

She enjoys spending time with her husband, cooking, traveling, and hanging out with her Boston Terrier, Beans. astackhouse@lexington1.net 




Lyuda Hutchenson (ESOL)– Lyuda Hutcheson works as an ESOL teacher between two middle schools: Lexington Middle school and Glen Meadow Middle School.  She graduated from Simferopol State University in Ukraine with a Master’s degree in English as a Second Language.  She has 14 years of experience of teaching English to the speakers of other languages, three, out of those years, she taught outside the USA, in Ukraine.  She joined Lexington School District 1 in 2002 as an ESOL teacher and ever since has been teaching English as a second language to the students from other countries. During these years she has worked in different schools throughout the district, including LHS, LMES, GES, PHMS, LIS and LMS.  In 2010 Lyuda Hutcheson obtained a National Board Certification of teaching English as a Second Language on the secondary level.  She has two children, a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old son. image (1)Trisha Hamilton (RTI Math) – Miss Hamilton is happy to be spending her sixth year as an MGM Gator! After moving to South Carolina from Ohio this is her seventh year teaching in Lexington 1 schools. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Communication and a Post-Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education focusing on Mathematics and Science from Eastern Michigan University.  She graduated from Columbia College in May 2014 with her Master’s degree in Divergent Learning.  She enjoys University of Michigan Football, working out, lifting weights and being artistic.  She considers her time the most well spent when she is spending it with family, friends and her amazing pit bull, Arbor.  She has a long term goal of running a half marathon. THamilton@Lexington1.net821-0665





Rayna Kleckley (RTI ELA)-Mrs. Kleckley loves working with the Gators at MGMS.  This is her 15th year teaching middle school.  She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Education with minors in English and History from Columbia College; she has a Gifted Endorsement and is working on her Literacy Endorsement.  Mrs. Kleckley is married and has 3 children: 2 daughters who attend college and a son who is in high school.  She enjoys art, music and sports, as well as fishing, reading and spending time with family and friends.  rkleckley@lexington1.net , 803-821-0653



melbaMelba Acey (Speech and Language) – Mrs. Acey is an Speech-Language Pathologist certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) who loves being a part of the Meadow Glen Middle School Family! Mrs. Acey will be sharing her time with other Lexington One locations.  She received her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish (2002) and Masters in Speech Pathology (2004) from the University of South Carolina.  She is married with one child and enjoys photography, reading, watching movies, sewing, and spending time with family and friends.   Macey@lexington1.net  or 821-0671.
