I am looking forward to teaching 6th grade science at MGMS this year! This will be my 13th year of teaching, and my 10th year at MGMS. I am originally from Kingsport, TN. I have a B.S. in Biology from the University of South Carolina, and a M.S. in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Tennessee. I live in Lexington with my husband Clayton, my children Shannon (6), Hunter (10), and Hayden (20), and my two cats. My favorite things are gardening, cooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with my family. This year I plan to start an environmental club and participating in the Trout in the Classroom program. It's going to be an amazing year for science!
