Hayley Munson

Hey there, Meadow Glen Middle School Gators! I'm Mrs. Hayley Munson, and I'm so excited to be spending my tenth year in the classroom with all of you! I'm a proud Lexington, SC native, and I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Middle Level Education from the University of South Carolina. Over the years, I've taught 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade ELA, as well as English 1, and I'm thrilled to be teaching you!

When I'm not in the classroom, my hands are full with my four amazing kids: Tucker (6), Molly (4), and my 18-month-old twins, Beckham and Wyatt. And of course, our family wouldn't be complete without our sweet dog, Leah!

Outside of school, you can usually find me with my nose in a good book, enjoying the great outdoors, or just hanging out and making memories with my family. Our absolute favorite place to vacation is Pawley's Island, SC! Fun fact: my husband played baseball at UNC Chapel Hill, so we are HUGE Gamecocks fans (and sometimes cheer for the Tar Heels too!).
