Jennie Starr

This will be my second year teaching at Meadow Glen. I am excited to be working with a great group of teachers again this year. Prior to coming to Meadow Glen, I taught middle school and high school Math in Georgia. I also previously served as Assistant Principal in Georgia and Tennessee before relocating to South Carolina. I am married to Dr. John Starr - a long time educator and football coach. We have 2 children, John II and Janai. We also have a new beautiful granddaughter, Nia Marie.

We have been around education and athletics a long time. We love working and servicing in our community. I hope that you are excited to begin this year’s learning journey with me. I am committed to helping you meet the required South Carolina math standards, and look forward to working with each of you. Let’s work together to make this a great school year. Go Gators!!
