Na Zhang

Dr. Zhang is excited to teach Mandarin Chinese and World Cultures this school year! She holds a Doctor of Education degree from Clemson University and an Educational Specialist degree from Converse University. She also earned her Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from Xi’an International Studies University in China.

Originally from Xi’an City, China, Dr. Zhang brings 19 years of experience in second language acquisition to the classroom. The 2025–2026 school year marks her 9th year teaching at MGM.

Outside of school, Dr. Zhang enjoys life with her husband, an IT engineer, and their two sweet boys, ages 11 and 6. She embraces a "philosophy of love" in education and is passionate about discovering joy in both teaching and learning.

Dr. Zhang looks forward to a fantastic school year with her students at MGM!
