Derrick Price

I am entering my 22nd year of teaching and returning to Meadow Glen after two years away. I will also be serving as head football coach here. Previously, I taught at Chapin and Irmo Middle Schools. I graduated from Newberry College with a BA in History and Education then obtained my Master's Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. I am also a National Board Certified teacher. I have two sons, Oliver a freshman at River Bluff and Rutledge a 5th grader at Centerville Elementary. My wife, Amy teaches high school science. We enjoy traveling and camping and spent this summer in Michigan and Minnesota. We are huge Chicago sports fans and love cheering on our teams. I am excited about this school year!
