A proud graduate of the University of South Carolina, Rachel holds a B.A. in Theatre and Speech, a M.A.T. in Theatre, is a National Board Certified Teacher and also holds endorsement in Gifted and Talented Teaching.
When not in the classroom, Rachel is steadily working on her craft. She's been seen and heard in commercials, industrial training videos, on stages around town, and proudly serves on the Executive Board for Columbia Children’s Theatre. Along with traveling every chance she gets, reading, piddling in the yard, laughing, and discovering cool new restaurants are things that make her smile. If she's not on stage or in the classroom, you may find her at the lacrosse field cheering on her daughter, AR, who is a sophomore at Lander University.
Inspiring students to challenge themselves creatively while finding adventure along the way is her jam. The door is always open, so feel free to stop on by anytime.
