Administrators

Dean Long is from Columbia, South Carolina. She graduated from The College of Charleston with a Bachelors of Arts in History with a minor in Secondary Education.  She also holds a Masters of Education and a Masters of Education in educational supervision and administration from Southern Wesleyan University.

Previously Ms. Long worked as the 6-12 Social Studies Specialist for Richland School District Two and was a Social Studies Teacher at Irmo High School in Lexington School District Five. When not at school Dean Long enjoys Gamecock football, concerts, and spending time with her family. 

Dean Brie Williams is thrilled to be joining the Meadow Glen Middle family. Dean Williams was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio. She got a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Miami University and then a Masters in Reading from Bowling Green State University. She moved to South Carolina in 2008 and got a Masters in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina. 

She has worked in Lexington One since 2008 at White Knoll High School, Lexington Middle School, and Gilbert High School as an ELA teacher, instructional coach, and Assistant Principal. The loves of her life are her husband, Bryson, her sons, Brady and Baylor, and her puppies, Sienna and Maya. When not at work, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.
